Theme found
New theme found and in place. Many changes coming(or not?).
Replaced all images with gif/png. This is an OCD thing with me. I can’t deal with jpeg artifacts. Also the size is nicer, but I couldn’t care less about dial up users in the first place. Just die.
Took nearly an hour but all sign of the evil jpeg corruption is gone from the theme.
Removed shitty background image from the theme. Who wants to see the same god damn twirl on every post title and sidebar section?
Added post ID in the place of the image and then floated it to the right. Much improvement there.
Planning to include tags and also design new header. Much photoshop/gimp filterage will ensue.
No commentsUpgrading WordPress.. Finding a new theme!
The latest version of WordPress has broken the theme I was using on this blog. Might fix it, or I might find something new. Until then.. whatever.
Anyone have a favorite?
Widgets are a must, but I’m pretty open to anything else.

- WTF is up with PDFs and Flash sites? If it takes more than an instant to access you better give me a damn good reason to continue. GTFO #
- @somerled: whoa there! Don’t get too excited! #
You know where to put it

Maybe we should, in a last ditch attempt to get their attention, write an open letter asking them what they are going to do to address these problems?
But then, Baba might call us whiners.
What do you want them to say? “We’re working on it, we plan to continue fixing bugs and doing incremental improvements to the current system. Meanwhile, we’re also working on a new system that will allow for greater stability and expansion.”
Something like that? Pretty much what Cory just said a little bit ago and the Open Letter signatories seem unimpressed. Indeed it’s more of the same from Linden Lab. Same words. What else are they going to do? You not happy with the progress? What do you want?
It’s not going to get fixed next week. Not two weeks from now and not even three weeks. Can you beleive it? THREE WHOLE WEEKS will not be enough to fix things. I guess we’re just going to have to wait and see.
I guess it all depends on why you’re in Second Life. I’m here to make sure this metaverse thing happens. Fuck the rest of you and your petty little wants and needs. NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW. You want everthing perfect right now, and it’s not happening. You do succeed in one thing. You force decisions that show short term improvements. Things start to look better and then you’re happy for a a few weeks, then it goes to shit again and you wonder why they can’t get it right. Why does this always happen? It’s you.
It’s time folks. Time to look down deep and make a decision. What do you want from this? Is it important to you in the long term or are you here to make a quick buck selling primdongs and have dance parties with your friends?
